Real Princesses Call the Shots!

It's heeeeeeeeere! Earlier this spring, I jumped on an opportunity to write a short story for this extremely cool collection of fairytale princess stories published by Enchanted Quill Press. Guess what? Today's the big day! Happy birthday to Princess Bachelorette, an anthology of 12 stories in which the heroines of your favorite fairytales call the shots in a series of matchmaking competitions. Amazing concept, right? That's what I said!
Cinderella meets Groundhog Day in my story, "Another Midnight." It stars Emmeline, a bookish girl who sneaks away to a prince's ball only to find herself trapped in a cycle that proves to be a competition for her own heart and happiness. Choosing her perfect match will bring the evening to a close, but to make her selection, she’ll have to bend the rules first.
Not only did I have an absolute BLAST writing this story, but this was, hands-down, my favorite publication experience to date! I've loved every minute of working with the other fantastic authors in the set--they are truly special ladies, and it's been so fun getting to know and learn from them.
